after school program at EPIC

Hello EPIC Families,
The after school program is a big benefit of our school. We want to thank you for your continued support and efforts to help us achieve greater success for the betterment of our scholars. We, as a staff, have listened to you and taken your suggestions for improvement seriously. Below is a table of the five areas of improvement, parent suggestions on ways to improve, the next steps the school will take WITH your support, and our January 2018 updates. There are three items below that need your attention as we cannot improve in these areas alone. It takes a TEAM effort.
We always need parent support! Parents and family members please get fingerprinted and complete the volunteer paperwork (see Mrs. Raisa in the office for this). Parents must be cleared to support the school on field lessons and helping at school. Here are some areas where we would like family support:
1. Volunteering for Field Lessons/Trips (Must be cleared)
2. Leading an After School Class (Cooking, Engineering, Sewing, Carpentry, Arts and Crafts, Theater, Dance, Computer Programming, using Computer Software, etc.) EPIC will supply the facilities, get students signed up, get parent permission, and purchase supplies (at a reasonable cost). Parents must be cleared.
