Hello EPIC Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful week and you are looking forward to a week off.
I want to communicate Mr. Owes, will be ending his tenure with EPIC and GCC effective February 20, 2018. He has accepted a position with the California Department of Education as an Education Consultant in the Charter School Oversight Division.
EPIC would like to thank Mr. Owes for his hard work, support and dedication to our staff, scholars and families during his time with us here at EPIC. We all would like to wish him the best of luck in the future!
To ensure that excellent instruction continues in the classroom we have decided to make the following adjustments:
1. We have started the hiring process and we will begin interviews for potential replacements after President’s break.
2. Mrs. Nina and Ms. Marston are taking lead with ensuring instruction remains consistent during this time.

I thank you all for your patience, understanding and support in making this adjustment. I look forward to focusing on providing high-quality instruction for all of our students in each class as we finish our school year strong.
