Healthy Meals

Our school participates in the CA Universal Meals Program. Breakfast and lunch are offered daily at no charge to all students.
 
Students are served food low in fat, sugar, and sodium for breakfast and lunch. These meals comply with USDA and CDE requirements to ensure that our students have the proper nutrition to make the most of their school day. For a preview of our monthly menu, please click below:

Dear EPIC Families and Staff,
 
We’re excited to invite parents and guardians to be part of our GCC Wellness Committee! This committee plays an important role in supporting student health, nutrition, and overall wellness across our schools.
 
Purpose of the Committee:
  • Promote a healthy school environment
  • Help set goals for nutrition education, physical activity, mental health and wellness programs
  • Support our students' physical, emotional, mental, and academic well-being
 
Commitment:
 
Two virtual meetings via Zoom: April 30th, 2025 and May 20th, 2025
Time: 9:00-10:00 AM

Civil Rights Complaint Process
 

Nondiscrimination Statement
 
In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at:
https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
